Is there a defined difference in these two rim fires? I have a No. 20 that the carrier won't comedown far enough to push down the shell latch so a round will come out of the magazine onto the carrier. so if there is a difference could it be in the carrier?

well, got no response this board, but a fellow Marlin #20 owner from rimfire central took pic's of his innards .and I got all but three parts. one I'm making the other two are on the way. Be up 7 running by Friday. Not muxh activity here I see.

Need Help Identefying a Marlin pump
I think it is an 1898. It's 12 Gauge,has patent dates on barrel of Nov 6 1894;May12, 1896; June 2 1896.
serial Number on receiver is:67014. Serial # on Barrel is 70717F. I don't have any pics yet but will post some when I get them.
