MARLIN ROLL STAMP DIES

Hey folks. I haven't posted here in a while. I found these Marlin roll stamp dies at a gun show over the weekend. I didn't have enough cash to buy them all , but I did bring home four of them. Any idea of how rare or collectible these are ? I have pics , but not sure how to upload them.

Re: Marlin 80 problems...help please..!!!???!

With these older guns, they were still mass produced.I have not found very many that wouldn't accept another bolt. They usually work or they don't.A good gunsmith or one that's been in business awhile should have a headspace gauge. Those older Savage's were very accurate rifles. On par with the older Ma...

Re: Marlin 80 problems...help please..!!!???!

This is a cartridge guide. This guides the shell into the chamber.Without it the shell will hit the top of the receiver.Any gunsmith should be able to install this piece. If they can't,I would not take anything to this gunsmith.

Re: model 717 m2 17cal. blew up!

Unless you had a plugged barrel and tried to shoot it like that,I can't think of any way a stock would blow off.I would box the gun up and send the whole thing back to Marlin. They may send you something to replace it.

Re: Marlin 80 problems...help please..!!!???!

You can still shoot it single shot.It is a pain tho.Numrich Gun Parts now makes a replacement part for under $10.00.I have not tried one of these from Gun Parts,so I do not know how well made it is.You will have to drive out a barrel pin to remove the barrel and replace the guide. It's not as hard as...

If you call marlin at 1-800544-8892 they will fix you up with the correct feedthroat parts you will need for any year model 60.On the older guns they will get you into a new feedthroat, lifter and ejector spring as well as a new style bolt.It will run you about $ 40.00.Your gun will function like nev...

CROWN PRINCE

All the Crown Prince model's I have ever seen have had a ring cocking handle.I've never seen a round knob or T-handle.They all have a crown symbol on top of the barrel.

MODEL 50 AUTOLOADER

I picked up a 75 % + Marlin model 50 autoloader with a clip at a gun show Sunday. This is the first one that I have ever seen that is all original as far as I can tell.No drill holes, correct sights, correct buttplate.I have 2 others that have been drilled. I have two that have a slot milled on the rig...

This finish looks like Brownell's GunKote.I have done a few Marlin 60 recievers with this and it comes out better than factory finish. The gun looks in mint condition tho.It might be original.

I would put a modern buttplate from Marlin on it.I may have an original one,but it most likely is worn.A new one or an old one has to be fitted to your stock,so what difference would it make.

I have this same model. It says Crown Prince and has a crown on the barrel.Mine also has the ring bolt handle.I belive they show this option in the Brophy book.I pick up another one for a friend with the ring too.
