I was looking at Cablea's Gun Library a few minutes ago and saw a 100th Anniversary Commemorative Set that is in new condition. They have a price of $3000 on their's, so probably $2000 would be in the ballpark reallisticly.

I think you need to ask the dealer somemore questions, as in what model, caliber, and when it was produced. Then maybe you can get an answer to your original question.
