Well i bought tubing the same size as the inner and outer,now just need to bring it to a freind who runs a CnC machine and see what he can do

Will do,might be awhile though,outer tubeing is on back order and i head back to work the first week of may for the season

The reciever hole is .378 and the outer tube is .44 OD and is only .032thick,I would have to resize the reciever.So, I found the tubing i need for both inner and outer tubes and i got a guy with a C&C machine that said he will try. Also found a custom gunsmith that said he could make both tubes ...

Stone Chimney Creek Trading Co. LLC 903-279-4055, they quoted me 100$ or a little more to have both tubes made. Thats not a bad price for a truely OBSOLETE part.

The updated 39 tube wont work,outer tube wont fit in receiver

Also found a updated tube for the model 39 at wisners that comes with a dovetailed ring,just have to file a groove to accomodate for the lower mounting position. Then i will have a full mag.But still would like to find a factory part to have if you know what i mean

thanks, i checked out that kit,is that something a gunsmith will do? Have you ever used these kits? I'm really not out much if i mess up

Thanks tigweld, I've never done anything like this,but i can try. Should all marlin tubes by the same size to fit in my receiver? It will probably be a trial and error deal

they have full mags and half mags,fulls are to long and halfs are to short at 14 inches,my outer tube is 15 5/16 with the latch,were they made only for the mod 38?
