Re: Marlin Model 93
There are no restrictions on your 93 as long as it is in good condition. Your gun looks pretty good and factory ammo would be fine.

Re: 50-110 Model 1895
Rick, Thank you! It's a shame someone paid a lot for it. A 95 you looked up for me a while ago, was a 40-82 with a short barrel, that looked good, but was cut down and I contacted auction house, they didn't respond and sold it as a rare shortie for around 3000+. We try to prevent people from getting...

50-110 Model 1895
Rick,
I know Marlin didn't make the model 1895 in 50-110. Could you check this one on Wards auction, someone payed a lot

Re: Special smokeless steel
I have not seen one, but it is possible. The 30-30 was a smokeless and Marlin states in catalogs all barrels are Smokeless Steel. In early catalogs Marlins states all model 1895 barrels are Smokeless, but some early barrels are not marked as such, as they may have not had stamps ready. I have one no...

Re: Buyers Beware!!
Rick You are right! I have had good dealings with Little John’s out in CA. They took one back from me with an Apology and I got a 94 15” carbine from them and it didn’t have the ATF clearance, they said they would refund if it didn’t clear, that they thought it came in with the gun. They sent the gu...

Re: Buyers Beware!!
There are some one o f a kind Marlins in that auction, with provenance! They should be happy to show that one as FAKE! It would show them to be honest and attract auction skeptics.
