Model 336 .44 mag
Does anyone know if through the years the threading on the 336 .44 mag barrels has remained constant and are all interchangeable? I appreciate any help. Thanks, Doug

S.N. 2367. Marlin No. 47. 22" barrel not crowned. Mag. tube 3 1/4" short of muzzle/ Foxed rear sight. Front sight no bead. All original I believe. Doug

Sneekpete, I haven't seen the Sears model markings, but my Father-in-law bought a new 39a in 1954 when he graduated high school and I was surprised to see the scope holes in the barrel. I refered to the book and know that he got a barrel that was supposedly for Sears with all Marlin markings. Do you...
