Finally had time to dust off granddads old Marlin 39A. I'd like to verify the date of the manufacturer, the serial number is K49*** (below the lever) so based on the other sites it 's around 1953? If that doesn't sound right can someone get me further guidance? Also would like to know what the best tear down manual is. Been forever since it's been fired and I want to get it up to speed before I head to the range.

Any help is appreciated.
