MARLIN Golden 39AS - WHAT YEAR

Post by Giffo »

Hi all, I am new on here and live in Sydney, Australia. I have inherited my Dads Marlin Golden Lever Action 22 cal. Its a 39AS model.
I have tried to research it, but cannot find what year it is?

Any help would be appreciated.

Giffo;

The serial number will tell you what year it was made. The Marlin "AS" versions came out in 1984.
Subtract the first two digits of the serial number from 100 to determine what year your rifle was made. ( i.e. 100 - 16 = 84 or 1984, or 100 - 93 = 7 or 2007 )
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.
