Model 25 in .22wmr

i live in the UK and have a couple of questions on Marlin rifles as I'm thinking of purchasing one.

1. Model 25 in .22wmr is the magazine for the XT 22 .22wmr compatible?

2. When was this rifle in production?

As far as I know, late 1990's was the last I saw one of new production. I cannot comment on your other question, however.
