Anyone know if this might be factory engraving or not? I just picked this Gun up this weekend. The s/n is 27XX.
Thanks in advance

JimmySherman;
Sorry to say, the engraving was not applied at the factory. It is well done, and looks very good in design. The only factory engraved guns in 1970 were the Brace of 1000, a Model 39 Mountie and a Model 336 Texan put up in custom, hard case. Both guns were engraved by either Robert Kain or Winston Churchill, with both engravers signing their work as such.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
