81-DL exploded view?

Post by Trev »

Hello all,

I am new to the forum and I’m looking for an exploded view of my 81-DL. My grandfather bought the 81 new back in the day. Then my father got the 81 once my grandfather passed away and now my father has given it to me. The gun hasn’t been fired in at least 25 years, probable more. I am going to take it apart and clean it. But before I do that I would really like to have something to reference before tearing the gun apart. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.

This is the link to the free schematics at e-gunparts.com scroll down till you get to the one you want. It is linked to the Marlin page.

Thank you Sure-Shot.

What i'm really looking for is one like this crown prince exploded view.

The one they have for the 81DL is pretty much just a list of parts.

Thanks again,
Trev

P.S. Anyone know of any books that it might be in?

Trev, don't know if this will help, it's from marlin and says it's for an 881, this is what they sent me when I requested a schematic for a 781. Hope this helps you out some, at least it's a starting point. Mr fixit
