My son has a marlin rifle he ask me if I could find out about it . He gave me this information he got off the gun . Patient feb 7 53 , Jan 7 73 , sept 14 75 , nov 19-20 79 , dec 9 79 , nov 9 80 , reissue nov 9 1880 . Also has 45 govt and this number 4162 . Any information will be appreciated thank you

It's a Model 1881, but the first date you listed isn't correct for the year. It's likely built around 1883 with that serial number.
