1893 Marlin

Post by LarryBob »

I have a Marlin Lever Action Marked: 1893 on the top tang. Special Smokeless Steel on the barrel serial #435016 located near the handguard. Can anyone help me to find a manufacture date?

LarryBob;

Sorry I missed your first post. A Marlin with a serial number in the 435,000 range is later than the existing records. But from known examples that the production is known, your Model 1893 would have been made about mid-1913.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.
