22 bolt removal

I got the job of cleaning my brothers .22 single shot from childhood. It is a marlin model 122. It appears to have a type of nylon or plastic that covers the loading port when the bold is closed. I can not figure out how the bolt is removed from the action. I would like some suggestions or a fix thanks.

IIRC, The bolt stop pulls down, from the bottom of the receiver after it's out of the stock - Here's an exploded parts diagram & parts list from Numrich Arms:

Many Thanks Pete, Now I won't look like such a dummy I had to look thru the bifocals but I found it. the bolt came out slick.
