Barrel Questions

New to forum.

I have 2 questions:
1. What are the pros & cons of the micro-grove barrels?
2. If I can't find a 444P to buy, I'm considering buying a standard 444s and cutting it down.....Thoughts????

I like the 444P first one I had was very accurate. I don't like cutting down barrels however, that is up to you. I have done it on a Ported GG to get rid of the ports. I have had good shooters with ballard rifling and with microgroove. Not sure it makes all that big a difference. Again though that is with the rifles I have.

Thanks Sure-Shot. These little guns are hard to come by so I was looking at alternitives.
