marlin 1893 carbine

I have a marlin 1893 carbine excellent condition the serial number is c25 my friend had brophy look at it back over 23 years ago and he said it was a special order and placed a value of $2500 on it back then. I am trying to get the current value for it. thanks email bookrax@aol.com

Without more info or good detailed pictures I can only offer the current Bluebook info for you.

MODEL 1893 CARBINE
- .30-30 Win., .32 Spl., .32-40 WCF cal., or .38-55 WCF cal., 15 (only 61 mfg.) or 20 in. round barrel, case colored receiver, 7 shot tube mag., straight or pistol grip stock. Mfg. 1893-1935.


Add 15%-20% for calibers other than .30-30 Win. or .32 Spl.
Factory special orders/features will add premiums, depending on the desirability of each option and the gun's original condition factor.
