Model 60 value ?

I have a Marlin model 60 83 or thats whats on it.It is a 22lr. It has a medallion on the stock which says Wagon Trail Commemorative. It is in probably 75% condition. If anyone has imformation about this rifle please post reply.

This is one of the commeratives Marlin made for Okla Tire & Supply Co. (OTASCO) Yours was made in 1983 & I believe there were around 2000 of them made. That is only a guess based on the sparse information available, though.

While not many were made, these do not seem to have taken off as a collector's item. Value? Well, you can still buy a new model 60 at the big discount marts for 100 or less, so a used example will bring a fraction of that. Nicer ones being worth a little more, of course. Locally, a pawn shop has a couple well-used ones in the 50 dollar range. SW
