I recently inherited a marlin model 19. I would like to check the serial numbers. How do I go about that?
Any help appreciated. Thank you

Re: Marlin Model 19
Jdaddy21;
There is very little serial number information available for the old Marlin shotguns. Most information available is for the Model 1898 and Model 16. All the other shotguns are later and there is no serial number available for them. From old catalog information available, it might be possible to estimate when your Model 19 was made.

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!
