Anyone know a supplier for finger lever latch spring for the Model 1881? Wisner Gun Parts no longer supplies them.

Brian;
Check with Larry Osborn. I sold him some parts back in May, and there were Model 1881 parts there. Cannot tell you if there was a lever spring there or not.
Good luck.......

Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

Re: Model 1881
Still looking for 1881 lever latch spring. Have tried, Larry Osborne, Wisners, Outback Gun parts, Gun Garage, Numrich, Bobs Gun Parts.
Reluctant to pay $75 for this part on eBay.
Wisners used to have them for $35 or $40. They just haven't got around to making anymore.
Will try any suggested suppliers if anyone has suggestions.
I think fair price would be $45 to $50.

Had some good luck this weekend at a gun show . Vendor had a box of Marlin parts and digging through it found 2 lever latch springs. Sold them to me for a couple bucks each.
Pays to get your fingers dirty once in a while. I had some screws that fit. Rifle's lever no longer sags.
