Have been absent from forum due to health for 3/4 years and am now selling. My user ID was Daville, had to change everything due to loss of original e mail.
Most of my rifles are of special order (longer barrels, heavier barrels or take down). Calibers include .40-82, .38-55. Beech front sights and Hepburn rear. Early cowboy rifles and barrel roll stamps. These safe queens deserve a new home. Am selling them thru PA Auction Center over the next couple months. Am I reading this correctly that you put some kind of lacquer finish on the receiver? If yes what type is it ? And also do you have a picture of the 40-82 stamp on the barrel?
