I have an old Marlin 101 and a newer Marlin/Glenfield 100 6 . The parts are interchangeable as far as the bolt. The 101 is easy to load because there's an insert inside the well before the barrel that lines up the cartridge to the barrel chamber. The 100 6 doesn't have that and you have to try to direct the bullet nose into the barrel and then push it in with the bolt. So, is the 100 6 missing some part or did Marlin/Glenfield make shooting this gun, a pain ? Thanks .
I'd post pictures but I don't see how.
