Marlin 92 with SN# starts with 428.
I have a question what year this Marlin 92 was made, on the octagon barrel patent dates range November 19, 1878, April 2, 1889, August 12, 1890 and March 1, 1892. The first three digits on the cell number are 428. Thank you for your time.
