Home for a Model 1881

Post by Road King »

This model 1881 had spent a lot of time travelling around the country until finally coming to rest in Brian's Home for Wayward Marlins about 3 years ago. I was able to trace it from Texas to Oklahoma to Wisconsin to Michigan to Arizona and finally retiring in my home back in Canada. It has a 30 inch heavy barrel, caliber .45-70 with double set triggers. The rifle is fitted with an original Large Rocky Mountain (Buckhorn) Sight, which is the first one I have found. The rifle is in excellent condition with mint bore. Serial #17005
