Good Day. I am an FFL in CT and trying to help a customer out. I am not much of a long gun dealer let alone an older rifle dealer. Customer came in with what appears to be a 1972 Marlin 1895 early production lever action in 45-70. Ballard rifling, saddle ring, large hammer tang. Very nice condition. Wood is very good and metal is good. I'm trying to get an idea of value. Blue book looks like $1,000. Nothing shows up on Gunbroker.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
