Marlin 1894 Early one

I picked up a early marlin receiver at a gun show (1902 year) the barrel was cut and am in the process of replacing it with one I found. so I have a couple of questions. First the trigger plate was probably broken and some has tried to repair it, I am going to try and fix the repair before I search for a replacement and I was wondering if some could give me the measurement between the receiver tang and the trigger plate for the stock. Second the Magazine tube was also cut and I would like to know what size tube I need for this rifle ... it is a 25-20 cal. any help would be great
