White Spacers
Do all 336's have the white spacers? I have a '48 RC 30-30 pistol grip with the bullseye in the butt stock, it has no spacer at the butt plate and it is just wood on the bottom of the pistol grip.

Your Model 336 from 1948 did not come with a white spacer or pistol grip cap. The white spacers were added in 1951 and the pistol grip cap was added in 1957, along with a gold trigger.
