Model 39

I just purchased a model 39 it’s in 95% range it also has a star on the tang what type of 22 ammo can I shoot in it I know I can’t use hv ammunition any suggestions thanks

If your Model 39 has a "HS" prefix to the serial number, any ammunition can be used in it, including High Speed. If it has no prefix to the serial number, or an "S" prefix to the serial number, then use only Standard Velocity or Target ammunition.
