Marlin Collectors Association

Post by dickaye »

Hello,
New member here, about two minutes new. I am not trying to sound foolish, but I really would like to know what this membership is going to do for me or possibly what I might do for someone else while I'm here? I did this very evening purchase two Marlin handguns so that I now have one each of all of them, except of course the "Stonewall" which I don't expect to ever see except in pictures. Back to my question: Why "Marlin Gun Collectors Association?

Dickaye;

Go back to the home page and read the "Purpose" of the Association. This message board just makes the sharing of information a little easier and quicker in some cases.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

Dickaye;

Questions are meant to be asked, and none look stupid if asked sincerly. This is the way we learn.

Ah ha, I've finally figured out I'm talking with the same person in two areas. I'm a slow learner, but I must confess..........I'm hooked! So what else have I overlooked? How does this site maintain itself-Donations?

Dickaye;

The Association dues is used to pay to host this website. The Association also displays at the NRA Convention, which is in Pittsburgh, Pa. in late April. This year, the Association will display the 130th Anniversary of the Marlin Repeating Rifle, the Model 1881.
