Sarah Pailn?

Post by JohnK »

I saw on Marlin's website, a picture of Sarah Palin with another man pictured with her, holding a rifle. What's the story behind the picture. I missed it somewhere along the way.

Thanks!

It was some kind of an Alaskan commemorative 1895 and I think she was given one of the first ones.

Edit: here's the info on the gun:

1895CBA (Cowboy Alaska) uncatalogued,

301 made
45-70
2008
Identical to std Cowboy, 18.5" barrel, laser engraved in commemoration of Alaska's 50 Anniversary for a distributor in Alaska. Additional unengraved guns were made for Gander Mountain. All were roll marked as 1895 CB's
Marlins in 44-40, taking care of deer and other varmits since 1888.

Thanks! I'd love to see one up close. I'll have to do some searching for pictures of it. :D
