MARLIN IDENTIFICATION HELP

Post by newuser164 »

Hello,

Looking for help identifying this marlin semi auto magazine fed rifle I just got off auction.

I would like to find a disassembly video if anyone knows and also finding the model would help in this quest.

Also curious what your thoughts on the inscription I found under the buttstock pad might mean.

I found 1 video with an identical looking magazine in which the guy called it an A1, but the stock was different than this.

Please see photos, thanks so much.

Newuser164;

Your rifle is a Model A-1, probably a later version of the one you saw on the internet. The later version has the plastic trigger guard and the pronounced step of the stock just in front of the ejection port. It is like the marking under the butt plate in that it is considered a Model A-1C which is what you see at the top of the stock. The rest was the owner identifying his rifle as his property and where he lived.
Due to the increasing cost of ammunition, there will be no warning shot!

The growing federal deficit = generational slavery to the national debt.

If the world was perfect.......it wouldn't be.

Thank you so much!

Would you know how I can find disassembly instructions?

Any way to identify the year?
