1894 date of manufacture.

Post by moseldt »

I have a partial 1894, (barrel, octagon, feed tube, forearm, partial magazine operating mechanism.) But no stock. It is a 38-40.
Serial #170454 any help will be appreciated. I am also going to post wanting to buy a used stock for this gun, doesn't have to be in great shape as the rest of the gun is not pitted or beat up, but is in a very used condition.

That's a antique by BATF standards, and will likely date to 1898, unless it shipped later.
Marlin lever actions 1870's-WWI, Ballards, and single shot rifles!

Thanks for the information, probably going to play *beep* finding parts for it then I would guess. Or is that not true?
