Regarding the magazine for the Marlin model 80:
The Marlin magazines that are available in most sporting goods/gun shops for the model 80 DO NOT FIT the early original model 80 1935-39.
You have to find these elsewhere.

Yikes.....its like watching Surface Naval Officers....they eat their young..... 
I own a Marlin 80, only thing I have ever found is the 7 round clip, I hear tails of a 10 round clip but I have never seen one, I could read my Resume too, but the box they came in called them clips.
Let's use pages like this to help folks out, and you know when you help folks out....you feel better
If anyone knows were I can buy a larger clip (based purely on the packaging called it) I would love to know where, and if you have one your tired of owning, I like to put money in your pocket for it.
